Many of us find extremely vile recent photos and news stories of two gay, male, marines passionately hugging and kissing, in public, at their reunion on returning to home base.

And we feel great sadness, perhaps even remembering that old pop song, I'm Proud to be an American.

Certainly the national pride of many many Americans has reached a sickening new low.

As a U.S. Veteran, (20 years retired), I can only imagine the new soul searching that must be taking place in the hearts of many active duty soldiers, wondering if the USA is still worth fighting and maybe dying for.

Many retired Marines must be devastated.

Actually, I see this as a good thing, God should be the object of our trust, not the USA.

Jesus Christ said in John 14:6 --

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me

In God's terrible judgement of Israel in the Sinai, God, in love gave them a way of salvation.

Let us look at that account of the serpent in the Old Testament book of Numbers, chapter 21:

6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The act of looking at the brass serpent indicates the person believed that this would heal him.

So genuine faith alone is what is needed for God’s salvation.

Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts16:30

John (New Testament) Chapter 3 deserves very careful study:

¹There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

Jesus Christ, by his life, word and actions confirmed the authority and accuracy of the Bible.

Jesus Christ said in the New Testament Gospel book of John 14:8-10:

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Most modern Bible teachers and preachers say God does not have a body, and that he is neuter.

This is horribly wrong. God is a spirit WITH a magnificent spirit body -- AND HE IS A MALE BEING.

Male and neuter are mutually exclusive. If one manages to embrace the fictitious, myth, of God the Neuter, that person automatically rejects the true God of the Bible, and of Jesus Christ WHO IS GOD THE FATHER (A STRAIGHT MALE BEING).
